Within in the first couple of weeks I met a ton of people. I was determined to make this transition easy on my kids and formulate some type of normality.
I linked up with moms in my building and we did weekly playdates. I also met a friend through a Soror back in VA. She has 3 kids all 5 and under and she introduced me to another friend who also has 3 kids under 5!
So yeah that play date consisted of 9 kid and 3 moms… surprisingly it went wonderful! We have been to a ton of parks with the new people that we met, the zoo 2 times , the aquarium, the water front, a few boat rides, swimming, the kid quest museum and the science Museum.
